Ask yourself these ten questions and answer honestly. Any items that you must answer "no" are areas that you must work on to improve.
  1. Am I on time for school and for meetings?
  2. Is my attendance perfect?
  3. Am I able to greet by name the support staff, administrators and team members?
  4. Do I avoid complaining aloud about other staff and faculty at the school or about requirements, procedures and assignments?
  5. Is my written work, including reports, notes and messages to parents neat and accurate?
  6. Do I participate in and support school functions, such as being part of a committee or attending PTA, sporting events or music programs?
  7. Do I attend faculty meetings with the attitude that I am part of the group and that the information is important to my work at the school?
  8. Am I a good representative of my school in public situations and events?
  9. Do I seek formal and informal opportunities for professional development?
  10. Am I organized so that I can keep any promises I make to students, other faculty members, administrators and parents?
